Winslow, president of St. Louis and San Francisco Rail Road, which owned one half of the old Atlantic and Pacific Railroad, or Tom Winslow, a prospector who lived in the area.

Terrific Barbara. I remember getting caught in a blizzard (April 1, 1975) in Valantine Az -- took me 10 hours to get to Winslow -- the town was crowded -- someone in the diner actually played "Taking It Easy" on the jukebox. -- love your gallery. L/F
